Inviting applications for the 37th annual convocation to be held during dec 2001/ january2002.

The 37th annual convocation of the bangalore university will be held in the month of December 2001/January 2002. The prescribed applications to apply IN PERSON for admission to the convocation, may be obtained from the university departments/affiliated college/Directorate of correspondence courses, as the case may be from 31-08-2001.

1. INDIAN NATIONAL FEE : RS 200/-
2. FOREIGN STUDENTS FEE : RS 1000/-

1. Those who have not taken the degree certificate during the first five year after completing the degree :RS 100/- in addition to RS 200/-

2. Those who have not taken the degree certificate during ten years after completing the degree :RS 200/- in addition to RS 200/-

3. Those who have not taken the degree certificate during fifteen years after completing the degree :RS 300/- in addition to RS 200/-

Candidates while filling the convocation application forms should write their names in full in capital letters as registered in the university examinations and clearly mention the optionals/electives/specialisation subjects offered by them. Xerox copies of marks cards of all the university examinations with attestation should be closed. Candidates should ensure that the particulars entered in the applications must tally with the details in the marks cards regarding names,subjects of study/year of passing etc.Otherwise they are required to apply for required corrections seperatly.

Candidates whose results are withheld as per marks cards, should get their marks cards released before submitting them along with the convocation applications. Candidates who are eligible for gold medals/prizes of various degrees shall apply for degree certificates IN-PERSON, failing which, they are not eligible to receive medals/prizes at the convocation. Only candidates who have been declared successful in the degree examinations conducted by the Bangalore University during the earlier periods and upto 20th sept.2001 are eligible to apply for this convocation. Duly filled in applications along with the Xerox copies of the marks cards/internship completion certificates etc., (Medical facility), should reach the office of the Registrar (Evaluation), Bangalore university, through the colleges/heads of departments/Directorate of correspondence courses as the case may be within the dates given below:

1. Without penal fee :20th sept.2001
2. With penal fee of RS.50/= :30th sept.2001
3. With penal fee of RS.100/= :10th oct.2001

Prescribed fees should be remitted in the respective colleges, candidates forwarding applications through heads of department of university , Directorate of correspondence courses, should pay the fees of crediting to "BANGALORE UNIVERSITY FUNDS" at state bank of Mysore, Bangalore branch and Jnanabharathi branch, Bangalore 560056.

Late, incomplete and incorrect applications will be rejected without any correspondence. Principals of colleges are requested to collect the convocation fee directly from the students as already notified in the Notification NO.FB 4 MISC FEE 1991-94/69, DATED:29TH 1993, ISSUED BY THE FINANCE OFFICER, BUB.
