Prof. T.V. Krishnamurthy has over 35 years of rich experience in the IT field, his last 4 years being spent in a state-of-the-art export software environment. As part of industry-education interface he has been actively associated many reputed engineering and management education as guest faculty.

He was the Assistant Vice President-Software Services at IMR Global Private Ltd. Bangalore & functioned as a Business Unit Head responsible for delivery of multiple projects meeting the cost, schedule and quality standards of the customer.

At IMR, he was managing a group of over 200 software professionals engaged in various reengineering, development, migration and maintenance projects in IBM mainframe and new technology platforms adhering to ISO 9001 and SEI-CMM level 4 standards for clients in US. He has also functioned as Head-Corporate Human Resources for over a year during the tenure in IMR. AT IMR, he was also responsible for educational services aimed at upgrading the technical and soft skills of employees.

Prior to his career at IMR, Prof. Krishamurthy was the Head-Information Services in Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd.

He was the visiting faculty to Regional Engineering College and Bharathidasan Institute of Management, Tiruchi. He was also the Academic Counselor, IGNOU-Tiruchy Branch.

He was listed in the directory of Distinguished Computer Professionals of India-1991. He was the Chairman -Division 8 (Microcomputers) & members of EXECOM of Computer Society of India National Council for the period 2000-2002. He was awarded the Fellowship of Computer society of India in 1994, a unique honor that has been given to only 75 computer professionals throughout India in past 25 years.

Prof. Krishnamurhty holds B.E. and B.Sc. Degrees from the University of Mysore and is an MBA from IGNOU, Delhi.
