FIRST YEAR INAUGURATION FUNCTION ON 07-09-2007

Prof. Basavaraj, Former DTE garlanded the statue of Dr. M V Jayaraman, Founder of Venkatesha Education Society and paid respects

Dr. R. M. O. Gemson delivered “Welcome Address” with College details about History, Infrastructure, Achievements and Placements.

Prof. B. Basavaraj delivered Chief Guest Address. In his address, he mentioned about the importance of studies, how to concentrate from other deviations.

Dr. M. J. Mohan, Secretary, Venkatesha Education Society wished all freshers and advised them to study well and honoured the Chief Guest by presenting a momento.


Dr. K. Balakrishna, General Manager, Hindustan Aeronautical Ltd, Bangalore inaugurated the Department of Aeronautical Engineering and switched on the Wind Tunnel.

Shri. Partha Battacharya, General Manager, State Bank of India, Bangalore inaugurated the ATM of State Bank of India within the college premises

Shri. Partha Battacharya told about the various banking facilities available for students and parents in his speech.

Dr. K. Balakrishna said about the significance of Aeronautical Engineering and the emerging vacancies in Aerospace Engineering.

Mr. Kumar Proshanto Chatterjee, 7th Semester CSE and Ms. K. Shubha, 3rd Semester MBA, students shared their experiences with the first year students.

Prof. Y. Vrushabendrappa, Director, MVJ College of Engineering said “how to utilise all facilities and the importance of attendance, discipline, stuides, sports, and other things ” in his presidential address.

Prof. P. Essaki Muthu, HOD – ECE has delivered the vote of thanks.
