The
Engineering College Library has collection of Books, Journals, CDs
and Project Reports. It has a book bank for SC/ST students. It has
one main Library and one branch Library to provide quick access
to students and staff. The main library has two sections : Reference
& Issue. The Reference section has complete open access. It
also has a Photocopier installed to enable students to make copies.
The Issue section has closed access.
The
Library reading space can accommodate nearly 400 students. Separate
reading space is available for staff and students. The library has
procured 19 PCs of P-III, 128MB RAM, 20GB HDD and printer. The PCs
are connected in LAN and connected to a UPS.

Staff:
Dr.
M. Manogar is the Chief Librarian of MVJCE. He is having 13 years
experience in his library profession. He started his career from
Bharatidasan University, Trichy and worked in Madurai, Chennai,
Bangalore and Tanjore. He has completed his M.A. Economics and M.Phil
- Entrepreneurship from Madurai Kamaraj University. Master of Library
in Information Science from Annamalai University, Ph.D from IIAM.
Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, President of India appreciated for his innovative
research work of his research. He attended International workshop
related with Digital Resource Management organised by the Expert
Prof. Edward Proctor, South Missouri State University, USA. He worked
as Research Co-ordinator in Tele Teaching Conference organised by
Audio Visual Research Centre, ISRO, UGC, IGNOU & Doordarshan,
Chennai.
He
also attended many International and National conferences related
with Web resources for R&D Acceleration, Effective classroom
management - ISTE - CAP organised by Anna University, Chennai.

Library is open on all days of the year except on the National holidays
(Independence Day, Republic Day and Gandhi Jayanthi). Hence our
MVJCE library users can use the library for their academic and research
