Internet Centre of MVJ College of Engineering established in April 2002. The Department situates in the Ground Floor of Computer Science Block, near to the Main building of the MVJ College of Engineering. The Main aim of Internet Centre is to enable the students as well as the staff to access various information related to Educational as well as Research and Development.

Moreover the students coming from other countries as well as from other states can communicate to their parents through Internet very effectively. Internet Centre is well equipped with total 40 computers and all are connected through Local Network. A 1 Mbps 1:1 Leased Line from BSNL caters for the Internet facility and the Email. The Centre is having one Router for connecting the Leased Line Modem to the MVJCE Internet Server and also two 24 Port Switch for connecting other computers in the department to the MVJCE Internet Server as well as to each other. 10KVA UPS with 16 batteries use in the Department so that even if power fails 40 persons can use the computers continuously for 2 hours.

The Centre is open 362 days in a year. The timing is from 08.00 a.m. to 10.30 p.m. There are over 1500 students utilizing this facility.
Separate Training Programs for Basic Computers and Internet conducts in Internet Centre for staff and students who are ignorant to the IT enabled services so that they can develop their skills using a range of different packages.

Internet Centre is equipped with the latest Software and Hardware Configuration, which is required for the high quality service. Students can download various topics from Internet for their educational purpose.

MVJ College Website Modification and Updation is taking place in the Internet Centre. The College website is modified in regular basis with the Internal and External Marks of the students so that their parents can view the performance of each student without any delay. The Events taking place in the College also will be displayed in the College Website.

Since Feedback is a key element in success, department is maintaining ONLINE FEEDBACK facility for giving better results.
