2 STD/ISD booths operate
within the campus to enable the students to communicate with their parents
any time.
Guest House
for Parents
An air-conditioned
guest house is provided with in the campus for the convenience of visiting
parents and guardians. the guest house provides all facilities needed
for a comfortable stay.
Canteen
The college has a
newly built and spacious canteen offering hygienic and sumptuous food.
Vegetarian food is provided in the canteen attached to the campus. the
canteen offers both the North Indian and South Indian Cuisine to suit
all kinds of taste buds. The canteen has a modern kitchen conducive to
hygienic preparation of food.
ISTE Chapter
The college has an
ISTE Chapter (Indian Society for Technical Education) for the staff and
students. Several programmes, workshops, seminars, lectures etc. are being
organized under its aegis.
Sports and
Recreation
The campus has two
large play fields. One of them is flood lit and concreted conducive to
peed games such as Basketball, Tennis, Volleyball and Badminton. the other
one is huge and is ideal for games such as Football, Cricket and Hockey.
On the campus is also located a recreation room where students can play
games like Table Tennis, Carrom, Chess etc.
The college conducts
an annual Intercollegiate cultural festival in the month of June/July
every year under the banner 'SWAYAM'.
The college conducts
MVJ Memorial Cricket Tournament every year. Engineering colleges from
all over Karnataka participate in this tournament.
The college actively
encourages sports, cultural and extra cultural activities in order to
achieve overall development of its students. Students are also encouraged
to participate in intercollegiate competition of all nature.
