Eligibility for MBA Program

Admission for the MBA Course is open to Graduates from Visveswaraya Technological University (VTU) or any other recognized Indian University. The latter will need to obtain an Eligibility Certificate from VTU.

You should have passed the prescribed qualifying examination with not less than 50% of the marks in the aggregate of optional subjects in the examinations of all the years put together. (45% in the case of SC/ST and other groups classified by the Govt. of Karnataka)

The College will conduct an Entrance Examination for admission to its MBA Course, comprising a written test and personal interview. Admission will be granted purely on the basis of the results of the Entrance Examination.

Those working in Government Organizations, Public and Private Sector Units must have a minimum of 3 years work experience and should be sponsored by their organizations apart from fulfilling the abovementioned requirements.

Eligibility Criteria for M Tech Programs

Admission is open to candidates who have passed in BE/B Tech Examinations or AMIE (India) or equivalent in the disciplines of Aeronautical, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical & Electronics and Electronics & Communication, Industrial Engineering & Management, Industrial Production Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) or any other recognized Indian University. The latter would need to obtain an Eligibility Certificate from VTU.

The candidate should have passed the qualifying examination with not less than 50% of marks in the aggregate of all the years in the degree Examination. (45% in the case of SC/ST and other groups classified by the Govt. of Karnataka).

Members of Teaching/Research Staff/Teaching Assistants, working in any Engineering College recognized by AICTE, either in the state of Karnataka or outside, and who have put in a minimum of three years of teaching experience on full time basis in Engineering Colleges, Polytechnic institutes or any other Institutions importing Engineering/Technology education shall be eligible for admission to PG courses under sponsored quota, provided they are sponsored by the respective Institute/DTE. In case such candidates are not available, candidates with two years of experience will be admitted t the course against sponsored quota.

Those working in the State Government/Central Government/Quasi Government Organizations/Public Sector Industries/Defence R&D Organizations/CSIR Laboratories/Reputed Private Industries, shall also be eligible to seek admission to PG Courses, provided they meet the qualifying examination requirements and have put in a minimum of three years work experience and will be sponsored by their organization.
