ISO 9002: 1994 CERTIFICATION

MVJ college of Engineering had established and applied a quality system for providing educational services leading to Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and Master's Degree in Computer Applications and Business Administration and was Certified to that effect by TUV-Rheinland fulfilling the requirements of ISO 9002:1994 (International Organization of Standards) in May 2001. 

Quality policy of the institution being

  • To remain well prepared for future needs and demands

  • To keep improving continuously.

The Quality objectives are

  • Develop Quality consciousness among every person in the institution including Students

  • Promote, foster and sustain an environment to achieve academic excellence.

  • Maintain a good Co-operative and beneficial relationship among all the persons in the institution.

These policies and objectives are qualified and all the academic and co-curricular and extra curricular activities are lied down as Quality Manual (Level I Document) and with reference to each and every clause applicable as in Quality Manual, Procedure are well defined and written in Procedure Manual (Level II Document). Work instruction and Laboratory Manuals (Level III Documents) and Formats (Level IV Documents). 

All the activities of the college are being carried as per details in these documents and a group of staff members have been periodically Auditing through Internal Quality Audits. The observation of these Internal Audits are reviewed in Management Review Meeting and the guidelines and valuable suggestions are taken by management. Recently the Certifying Agency, TUV, conducted the Surveillance/Follow up Audit to ensure that the quality management system in force as per the requirement and a very few minor deviations in certain areas. 

The activities of the institution as per the norms and guidelines of the ISO Quality system, helps all disciplines, a long way, in getting Accredited by National Board of Accreditation .
