Objective

MVJ Institute of Nursing was established in the year 1993

The International Council of Nurses (INC) definition of the function of the Nurse is as follows:

The unique function of the Nurse is to assist the individual, sick or well in the performance of their activities, contributing to health or its recovery (or to peaceful death) so that the individual would perform un-aided if he had the necessary strength, will or knowledge and to do this in such as to help him gain, independence of health, based on the World Health Organization definition as health is a state of physical, mental and social well being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.

t MVJ Institute of Nursing, we fully subscribe to this definition. The practice of this definition calls for good understanding of basic scientific principles. In keeping with this, our curriculum provides for instruction in physical, biological and social sciences.

The whole of MVJ Institute of Nursing is committed to this noble goal, as defined by the International Council of Nurses, with the maximum utilization of our extensive facilities and sound infrastructure.

The Institute has outlined the following objectives for its students at the Institute
