SEMESTER PATTERN

• There are six semesters in diploma course.

• Promotion from 1^st semester to 2^nd semester & 3^rd semester to 4^th semester - doesnt require any specific condition

• Promotion from 2^nd semester to 3^rd semester i.e., from I Year to II Year, students should compulsorily pass in all except four subjects (at the minimum) in 1^st & 2^nd Semester put together.

• Promotion from 4^th semester to 5^th semester i.e., form II Year to III Year, students should compulsorily pass in all except four subjects (at the minimum) in 3^rd & 4^th Semester put together, at the same time should clear all subjects in 1^st & 2^nd semesters

• Each subject carry 125 marks 100 marks through External Examination & 25 marks through Internal Assessment

• Internal Assessment will be awarded, based on the performance in the periodical internal tests and attendance status

Minimum requirement for pass in each subject

• Minimum of 45 marks ( including Internal Assessment) in theory subjects and 60 marks (including Internal Assessment) in practical subjects out of 125 marks & at the same time Minimum of 35 marks in theory subjects and 50 marks in practical subjects out of 100 marks
