A multifaceted personality that he was, Mr. M.V. Jayaraman was a musician, educationist, scholar and a teacher of par excellence. Venkatesha Education Society was a result of his deep-rooted convictions in the importance of quality education.

A teacher training institute was the first of a string of educational institutions he went on to establish under the aegis of Venkatesha Education Society. He believed that if teachers are trained rightly, the students will get an opportunity to learn better.
