The vision behind Teacher Education.
Dr. M.V. Jayaraman, the visionary and the man behind MVJ group of Institutions was a devout teacher himself. Dr. Jayaraman visualised the importance of Education at different levels and set forth his action plan by establishing Teachers Training Institutions first - A result of his firm belief that the destiny of our motherland is being shaped in the class room.
Venkatesha Education Society has instilled significant importance to this aspect of education and has created most modern infrastructure for their Teachers Training Colleges and a B.Ed College. These include extensively stocked libraries and laboratories with latest equipment. Adequate facilities for improving physical and mental fitness through both outdoor and indoor games and also for nurturing extra curricular talents of the students are provided by the colleges.
The Training Institutions
Venkatesha Education Society has three institutions in its fold to conduct Teachers Training Programme. Set up with the objective of training the aspirants for teaching primary school students, the Society has started three TCH Training Colleges, each strategically located across the city of Bangalore, for the convenience of students:
