In addition to the prescribed fee for the examinations a sum of Rs.10/- has to be paid towards examination application form and Rs.50/- towards the statement of marks by all including those who are exempted from payment of examination fees. The candidates whose admission are approved by the University are required to pay the prescribed examination fees, marks card fees except i) SC/ST/BT students as per Government Orders & ii) candidates whose family income is not more than Rs.11,000/- P.A. and who have to appear for the said examination for the first time, are exempted from the payment of examination fees. However, SC/ST/BT students have to pay only a sum of Rs.50/- for issue of marks card and Rs.10/- for examination application forms for the first time and subsequent attempt also. Applications for the 40th Annual Convocation of The 40th Annual Convocation of the Bangalore University will be held during the month of December / January 2005. The prescribed applications to apply in PERSON for admission to this convocation may be obtained from the University Departments / Affiliated Colleges of Bangalore University / Director of Correspondence courses, as the case may be from 06/09/2004. Prescribed Fees for Degree certificate are as follows 1. Application Fee : Rs.10/- 2. Indian National : Rs. 200/- Plus Fine* if any as noted below 2. Foreign Students (Only) : Rs. 1,000/- Plus Fine* if any as noted below *Fine
The candidates while filling the Convocation application forms should write their names in CAPITAL LETTERS as registered in the University Examinations and clearly mention the Optionals / Electives / Specialisation subjects offered by them. Photocopies of marks cards of all the University Examinations with attestation of the Principal of the concerned college should be enclosed. Candidates should ensure that the particulars entered in the application forms must tally with the details in the Marks cards regarding names, subjects of study, year of passing etc. Otherwise they are requested to apply for required corrections separately. The candidates whose results are with-held as per Marks cards, should get them released before submitting the Convocation Application. Candidates who are declared eligible to receive the Gold Medals / Prizes in their respective degree courses shall apply 'In Person' to this 40th Annual Convocation function only. They will not be eligible to receive the same during convocation functions held later. They shall be eligible to receive the same only from the Registrar (Evaluation) Office, when they claim the same later. Only Candidates who have been declared successful in the Degree Examination conducted by the Bangalore University during the earlier periods and upto 31st August 2004 are eligible to apply for this Convocation. Duly filled in applications with the Photo copies of the Marks cards / Internship completion certificates etc., (Medical Faculty), should reach the Office of the Registrar (Evaluation), Bangalore University, Bangalore - 560 001, through the Colleges / Heads of Departments / Director of Correspondence courses as the case may be within the dates given below.
Prescribed fee should be remitted by the candidate to their respective colleges. Candidates forwarding applications through Heads of Departments of University, Director of Correspondence Courses, should pay the fees by crediting the amount to "BANGALORE UNIVERSITY FUNDS" at State Bank of Mysore, Bangalore Branch, Bangalore - 560 001 and Nagarabhavi Branch, Jnanabharathi Campus, Bangalore - 560 056. Late, Incomplete and incorrect applications will be rejected without any correspondence. CANDIDATES SHALL NOT SEND THE APPLICATIONS DIRECTLY TO THE UNIVERSITY.
